Both correctional facilities supported by the Tri-County Intergroup and District 02 facilitate an AA meeting with the date/time and type of meeting as listed below:
 
Camp Lejeune Brig
Mondays at 6:30 p.m.  Bars To Bars Group, Brig, Camp Lejeune, NC 28542     (open discussion/non-smoking)
 
     1.  There's a requirement to fill out a volunteer package in order to attend this meeting.  This can be obtained by contacting the Intergroup Office at 455-3666.
 
Duplin Correctional Facility:
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., the Way Out Group, Duplin Correctional Facility, Hwy 11 South,
Kenansville, NC  (open discussion/non-smoking)    
 
     2.  There's a requirement to attend approximately a 1-hour certification now held once a quarter on the last Wednesday of the month at the Duplin Correctional Center at 7:00 p.m.  (except on holidays and when otherwise notified).  Information can be obtained by contacting the Correctional Facilities Coordinator, or by calling and leaving a message at the Intergroup Office.  The following is a schedule of upcoming certifications and the procedures that will be used in order to obtain a "Blue Card."  Please note that these procedures have changed from the way it used to be: 
 
Certifications schedule for 2007:

     a. Applicant can call or write for an application.
     b. When the application is returned, it will be investigated and if accepted, the
         applicant will be contacted as to the date when he can attend the orientation. 
     c. The "Blue Card" will be issued at the completion of the orientation.
     d. The Sgt's Office and the Gatepost will be furnished with a list of those approved to
         attend the certification

LITERATURE: If you have old Grapevines you've read already or would like to donate Big Books or Twelve and Twelve's, please drop them off at the Intergroup Office (labeled "for corrections)."  they will be taken to either of the two institutions.
